We service all of metro Detroit and south east Michigan including Wayne County, Oakland County, Macomb County, Livingston County, Monroe County, Washtenaw County, and Genessee County.

Ann Arbor, Michigan

is one of the most beloved cities in our entire state, known most for University of Michigan and for its large college student population. The array of restaurants and bars that fills the area are also noteworthy. These are our favorites in the 48103, 48104, 48105, 48106, 48107, 48108, 48109, and 48113 zip codes.

♦ Zingerman's Delicatessen ♦
Zingerman's Delicatessen is known for its amazing selections of lunch meats, baked goods, oils, and chocolates, and even for their delicious gelato! Yum! They have the absolute best customer service in the world here. Our favorite sandwich has got to be Randy's Routine Sandwich, which is made with delicious smoked white fish salad that's made on the premises, with scallion cream cheese, served on a rich dark pumpernickel bread. Their pastrami sandwiches are a close second, and of course those pickles are an essential no matter what else you get. People go crazy for this deli, and once you've tried it you certainly will too. You can find it at 422 Detroit St. Don't miss it!

♦ Zingerman's Roadhouse ♦
Zingerman's Roadhouse is just as good as the deli by the same name! If you're seeking comfort food in Ann Arbor, you cannot go wrong by stopping off at this little gem. We love their sweet potato fries, here, and their macaroni and cheese is really noteworthy too. If you're in the mood for a sandwich, we'd highly recommend the New Mexico Grilled Chicken Sandwich or the Reuben. The prices are a bit high here and that seems to be the only complaint among fans of the restaurant, but we really believe that every single dollar that you pay here is worth it. Oh, and don't forget to try that cream of mushroom soup. It's the best we have ever tasted! There's a full bar here too. You can find Zingerman's Roadhouse at 2501 Jackson Ave.

♦ Cafe Zola ♦
Cafe Zola is a Turkish and Mediterranean cafe that we just can't get enough of. Our favorite thing on the menu is the Frittata Zola, which is a delicious open faced Italian omelette with sweet potatoes, croutons, and goat cheese. Wonderful flavor, to say the least. They have fresh squeezed orange juice here that's so refreshing with whatever you order, and we really love the Turkish coffee here too. The staff that works here is so friendly and welcoming, and they have steered us toward great choices on the menu many times. Try the crepes and french toast too, they are really good! Strawberry and banana waffles too. Mmm! Enough said. Find Cafe Zola at 112 W Washington St.

♦ Jerusalem Garden ♦
Jerusalem Garden is one of our favorite Mediterranean restaurants of all time, not just in Ann Arbor. They've got all your standard Mediterranean items as well as a few nice surprises, but what is unique about it is that they are made just perfectly, and all so flavorful. Our favorites? The lentil soup is a great starter, and their spicy hommous is just amazing. Their falafel is just perfect, and we're very picky about that. The chicken shwarma is one of our favorite entrees, and they have very good sandwiches for lunch too! If you haven't tried this place yet, you really owe it to yourself to do so! There's a reason that everybody in the area loves this place. At 307 S 5th Ave.

♦ Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger ♦
Krazy Jim's is just a tiny burger spot on S Division St, and we can never get enough of that old fashioned charm. Our favorite thing to get here is a triple burger piled high with provolone cheese, eggs, mushrooms, and onions, all on a Kaiser roll. There's kind of a "code" for ordering here, so head over to their website and familiarize yourself before you go. Also, don't try to save a seat for yourself. Order first. You'll love their onion rings and other deep fried goodies, including cauliflower and mushrooms. Some have said that this place is their deep fried heaven, and after many visits, we would say it's ours too.You can find Krazy Jim's at 551 S Division St. Don't miss it!

♦ Ashley's Pub ♦

Ashley's Pub has one of the largest beer selections in Michigan, and completing their beer tour or at least making it to one of the checkpoints on it will earn you some serious swag. They have all your favorite bar fare here as well as amazingly delicious pizzas, and the best thing of all is that they offer seasonal beer selections and rotating taps so you never get bored. It really is all about the beer here, and that's why the beer lovers of Michigan flock to this place. If you're new to the whole scene you'll definitely want to check out one of their beer flights. Also ask for their beer booklet if they don't give it to you. The prices are affordable too, though they've got some really high end beers for those who have money to blow and appreciate a really great ale. You can find Ashley's at 338 S State St, and we also recommend their Westland location very highly!

♦ Seva Restaurant ♦
Seva Restaurant is a mecca for vegans and vegetarians. They have amazing tempeh sandwiches, pesto pizza sandwiches, burritos, and quesadillas. We'd also very highly recommend the yam fries, the portabella burger with pesto and mozzarella, the tempeh chili, and the quiche with feta and artichokes! Just too good. They've got great desserts here too, including a peanut butter and chocolate cheese cake that will just blow your mind. They serve alcohol here too, so you can come in for a great meal and drinks as well! The sangria is excellent. They've got happy hour every weekday and a beautiful patio where you can enjoy your drinks when the weather is warm. You can find Seva Restaurant at 314 E Liberty St.

♦ Grizzly Peak Brewing Co ♦
Grizzly Peak is perfect when you want to enjoy a great rustic atmosphere that's also sparkling clean and very cozy. Of course their food is amazing here, and we have really enjoyed their patty melts with sweet potato fries, their cheddar ale soup (this is probably our favorite thing on the menu!), their steak sandwiches, and their famous flourless truffle cake. Wow. Just thinking of all that now makes our mouths water. Of course the beers are excellent here, but for those who aren't big on alcohol, you can opt for the root beer that they make on the premises, or even have a root beer float! That's just wonderful. Great brownies with ice cream too. You can find Grizzly Peak Brewing Co at 120 W Washington St.

♦ Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales ♦
Jolly Pumpkin is another brewery that we really love! They're known for their Belgian beer. You'll definitely want to try the fire and smoke pizza and truffle fries. Their smashed chickpea sandwich is a really nice choice for lunch too, with plenty of delicious eggplant inside of it.  For a cocktail you cannot skip that strawberry balsamic martini. That's probably our favorite drink of all time, and yet this seems to be the only place we can get it. Truly amazing! The price is right here too. We enjoy the dim ambiance and the wonderful service here. Very friendly staff. Kind of loud in the front so you may want to ask to sit in the smaller dining room in the back if you want to have some intimate conversation. Find Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales at 311 S Main St.

♦ Arbor Brewing Company ♦
Arbor Brewing Company is another one of the best breweries in Ann Arbor. The beer is just amazing, a huge selection of great brews that are made on the premises. They have so many different events going on here on a regular basis, so you'll want to call to see what's going on this week or whenever you are in town. They've got free darts and free shuffleboard here, which is great but it can also make it more difficult to get a game in! The food isn't much to write about, just standard bar fare, but we find that it's pretty good. The beer is definitely the star of the show here and we don't have a problem with that. You can find Arbor Brewing Company at 114 E Washington St.
